Our Partner Program is designed to fit your needs. In addition to helping you meet your business goals, we will provide the necessary software, technical assistance, sales assistance, and educational support needed to make each partnership a success. We offer four partner categories and three membership levels, all designed to complement various levels of commitment and investment by our partners. Select the program structure that best fits your business needs.

Partner Categories

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
Appian works with commercial OEM partners to help provide an additional layer of value to their own product offerings. By integrating Appian's BPMS solution with their own suite of products, OEM partners are able to provide their customers with faster time-to-market and have the ability to resell Appian's solutions. We offer OEM partners the ability to add-on, bundle, host, or embed our software directly with their own.

Value-Added Reseller (VAR)
Appian works with value-added resellers who may wish to customize and package our BPMS solutions for the specific needs of a vertical or industry. As with all of our partner categories, we will provide VARs with the resources needed to customize our solutions and drive license revenue through the resale of all or part of Appian's suite of products. Additionally, VARs may provide professional services such as consulting, integrating, customizing and implementation support for the deployment of Appian's products.

Technology
Appian works with independent software and hardware vendors to strategically increase the value of our software for joint customers. By collaborating with other key technology companies, Appian customers not only gain additional functionality, but will also have the advantage of faster deployment times and seamless implementations.

Systems Integrator/Reseller
Appian works with our global system integrator partners to increase revenue opportunities for both companies. By partnering with Appian, SIs have the added advantage of tying their consulting and implementation services with business software solutions, which increases revenue opportunities and enables them to offer new value-added services for their customers. SI partners are typically engaged in implementing large enterprise software applications for global companies. We also work with Regional Systems Integrators who may sell consulting and training services.

Partner Membership Levels

Global Professional
Global Professional partners are leaders in their industry who have significant resources invested in Appian. Membership on this level is by invitation only and Appian has a dedicated team to develop and execute strategic business plans that encompass specific annual revenue targets, joint customer references and a commitment to build business solutions based on Appian's core capabilities. Global Professional partners are typically multinational organizations with significant business in multiple geographic regions.

Premier
Premier partners are large industry leaders with regional, national and global presence. They have strong commitment and investment in Appian and engage with us regularly to execute high levels of sales and marketing activities throughout the year. We will support our Premier partners with the necessary tools to help with pre- and post-sale activities, as well as certify and train their consultants on Appian's suite of products.

Affiliate
Affiliate partners have a demonstrated commitment to Appian and are motivated to increase revenue and customer acquisition through sales and marketing efforts with national and regional organizations. Membership and benefits in this membership level are commensurate with the levels of investment and activities of the partners.

  • Sales Support
    Appian provides its partners with support for making joint sales calls, creating proposals, and giving product demonstrations.
  • Sales Tools
    Appian will assist all partners with their sales and pre-sales efforts by providing effective selling toolkits, which include sales presentations, white papers, best practices, customer testimonials, etc.
  • Education
    Appian offers partners training and learning opportunities and helps them develop their own in-depth training seminars to prepare their consultants. To help ensure that our partners always have the latest information on our products and company news, we also provide access to a Partner Portal.
  • Marketing Support
    Appian provides partners with a variety of marketing tools, such as customer testimonials, public relations opportunities, invitations to partner events, and opportunities for joint marketing campaigns.
